UPAAN / PAACH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The University of Pennsylvania Asian Alumni Network (UPAAN) / Pan-Asian American Community
House (PAACH) Mentorship Program was established to provide opportunities for current
undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) to interact with UPenn alumni. The goals of
the program are to (i) provide mentors to current UPenn undergraduates; (ii) provide a forum for
networking among UPenn alumni and undergraduates; (iii) increase the participation of alumni and
undergraduates within the UPenn community; and (iv) encourage participation in and expansion of the
UPAAN / PAACH network.

FREE BRUNCH EVENT

The UPAAN Mentorship Program will be hosting its second event, a mentoring brunch, during
UPenn’s Homecoming weekend. During the brunch, each Mentor will be paired with a small group of
undergraduate students (Mentees) based on a pre-selected career focus. The brunch will be an
opportunity for Mentees to listen to the unique experiences and perspectives on a range of career issues
from Mentors, and an open forum for Mentees to ask questions. The Q&A part of the event is
expected to last one hour.
After the session, Mentor contact information will be provided to the Mentees with further
correspondence encouraged.

TIME: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28TH, 10:00A.M. – 12:00A.M.
LOCATION: HUNTSMAN HALL (ROOM TBA)

APPLICATION/SELECTION PROCESS

The Mentorship Program seeks to develop a Mentor pool that is highly motivated and diverse, and one
that can provide Mentees with a wide array of career perspectives. Additionally, Mentees will undergo
an application process and be paired up with Mentors for the event based on career preference. To
apply, please sign up on our application website below.
