== (2) Welcome Brian Chi W'10 =========================================

Please welcome & be formally introduced to Brian Chi (W'10)! He is our newest volunteer to step-in as one of UPAAN's Los Angeles representatives helping to initiate, plan and organize events for UPAAN-LA.

He graduated from the Wharton Undergraduate Program in 2010 with a concentration in Finance and Marketing is currently working in Westwood in Public Finance. At Penn, he was involved with the Chinese Students' Association and Asian Pacific American heritage week. You may have met him at a recent UPAAN-LA event already but if not, come say hi at our next Dim Sum event. Having recently graduated, he is eager to meet more Penn alumni in LA!

A BIG THANK YOU to UPAAN-LA veteran, Michelle Yuen (C'02), for her contributions and great ideas to UPAAN-LA for more than five years. She is a great mentor and an even better friend. Have fun in NYC!

Look forward to seeing you soon,
Heidi (& Brian)

== (3) It's Been a Pleasure, LA - note from Michelle Yuen C'02===========================
My, my.. dear Los Angeles & beyond (to the visiting guests we've had over the years).

It has been my pleasure and honor to support UPAAN here in Los Angeles the last handful of years. Thank you to those who have come out to the various events and that I've had to pleasure to meet. From the mixers to beach volleyball, dim sum traditions to intercollegiate collaborations, I've had tons of fun! Each time I leave a UPAAN event, I'm energized and inspired by the folks I meet. Seriously. What can I say, I love my Penn family.  :)

Some of you may know how I have talked about moving back east for years. Well, I have finally made it to NYC now, but LA shall always be home. And regardless, I'll probably see you at another UPAAN function soon!

Best to all in 2012.
cheers,
michelle yuen, C'02
